The PRAFS-EMUSIM software developed by P3D is the central link
between PRAFS-HMI and the ZEISS software.
PRAFS-EMUSIM is a virtual PRAFS clone which allows PRAFS robots to be planned, stored and managed offline.
The software enables easy and intuitive programming of the PRAFS setups. These replaces the mechanical clamping devices. A metrology expert, who previously prepared the programs for the measurement workflow on the ScanBox, can now program the PRAFS robots via drag & drop. No special robotic or programming knowledge is required.
When a robot is positioned, the movement positions are programmed at the same time and the end position can be reached without collision. The PRAFS setup is sent to the PRAFS HMI on the ZEISS ScanBox, where it can be called up and validated. After validation, the setup can be used immediately.
